Everyone's seen this by now but... We reached our $125,000 stretch goal for the motorcycle version of TriboTEX! Get a pint-sized version of TriboTEX for $30 (40% less) for your motorcycle, home generator, or farm equipment.

$100K Stretch Goal Unlocked: Diesel Application! Plus another stretch...

Thank you all for raising over $100,000 to reach our stretch goal for a Diesel version of TriboTEX!
We've been able to reduce the cost due to the larger volumes of nanomaterial we'll be making, so the Kickstarter price is $130 to treat 6-16 quarts of engine oil. If you'd like to get a Diesel version of the application right now, you can adjust your pledge here to the new reward:

Hey backers,
Happy Friday! Thought I'd let share some behind-the-scenes photos with you for fulfilling our orders. We've had over 800 people get at least one tube of TriboTEX, so I'm focused on getting all units ready to ship when the campaign ends on March 17th...
I've messaged some of you asking about packaging and we've decided to move forward with a different design to ship product faster. On Tuesday, I took a short field trip to a potential packaging supplier... they even let me take photos and videos to share with all of you!
Their packaging machine looks like a printing press (the big machine towards the left):
When they're ready to run a set of prints, they pick out a die that looks like one of these:
That's when the magic happens for all the gear heads and builders out there... It's impressive to see it in all come together (got some slo-mo gifs too):
...And viola! You've got a fully printed, ready-to-fold box for your product. The ones in these photos aren't the exact prints we'll be making, but it gave us a clear idea on how we'll get our packaging made. Now it's a matter of balancing speed, cost, and how complex it is (the iron triangle of quality).
We'll update everyone with our picks as we get closer to fulfilling orders...

Coming clean after President's Day

Hey backers,
We've gone well beyond our goal and we are shipping in packing boxes, syringes, and nano material stock by the pallet. You all have been amazing!
If we have been slow to answer any questions on here or the Facebook group... we're in the lab making product or meeting with product suppliers. One thing we do want to answer right away is this... does TriboTEX actually work? Where is the data? Dyno numbers, on-road case studies, anything?
Well the answer is...Yes! Today we're releasing three reports for you all to see for yourself:
- How we tested TriboTEX per ASTM D4172, the four-ball test, and demonstrated 40X less wear volume than the control
- How we tested TriboTEX per ASTM G77, the block-on-ring test, to show a 20X decrease in friction forces along sliding surfaces
- How we've used TriboTEX in three case studies with dyno testing, showing a 3.1% increase in horsepower, a 4-6% increase in MPG, and a full tear down to reveal what engines look like after being treated with TriboTEX
It's a lot of material, but we want our backers to know TriboTEX works. There is one catch... some information disclosed in the reports is proprietary and private. We're still securing all our patents and we don't want to give certain companies public access to our technology (they've already tried twice).
